CAT Season 1 Recap

Gurnam is a CAT, meaning a police informant. Once his mission is complete, he starts a new life with his siblings after his parents are killed. Years later, when his younger brother gets caught in a drug case, Gurnam once again meets with the officer he once worked for as an informant.
But now things are different, the police officer uses Gurnam for his benefit. He asks him for help to stop the drug trade, Gurnam needs to enter this drug racket and provide information.
However, Gurnam eventually finds a connection between the officer and the murder of his parents. This twist turns the story around, and Gurnam now changes the plan to take revenge for his parent’s death. The way the story ends has left fans eagerly awaiting the second season.
CAT Season 2 Renewal Status
We all want the show to be renewed because the series is truly impressive. The story looks simple but impactful. Especially, Randeep Hooda who learns Punjabi and his accent is undetectable that he learns the language for the series. It was the first series of Randeep Hooda and Netflix India originals in Punjabi.
Netflix has not cancelled the series yet which means there is still hope the series could get the next season. Although, the streaming giant has not announced the series’ season 2 as well. At that moment, we can’t confirm anything.
CAT season 1 was released in December 2022, and it has been two years since the series release but Netflix has not revealed anything officially. However, the fans may get an update this December on the celebration of the second anniversary of this series.

Randeep Hooda’s Upcoming Project
Randeep Hooda is currently working on a couple of exciting projects. His lineup includes Jaat, Pachhattar Ka Chhora, and Laal Rang 2: Khoon Chusva, all of which are scheduled to be released in 2025. However, Jaat will be the first film to hit theatres in the upcoming year. Hooda will play a key role alongside Sunny Deol, Vineet Kumar, Regina Cassandra, and Saiyami Kher. The film is set to release in the first quarter of 2025.
