The pan-India star Prabhas has an interesting line-up of projects that will be hitting the screens in the years to come. Apart from them, the rebel star is rumored to be cast in Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prasanth Varma’s next. We have learned that the announcement is officially going to be made very soon. Sounds exciting.
These directors are best known for making films that the audience enjoys. If this happens, this will be the biggest collaboration. The fans of Prabhas will love to see them on the big screen. It is more likely that the project will be announced very soon, but when? it is still a question.
Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe
Indian audiences used to watch Universe in Hollywood but thanks to the director Lokesh Kanagaraj who is making his cinematic universe in the Indian film industry. The crossover he did in three films feels like amazing.
Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo are part of LCU, and there will be more in the future. They will be sharing a strong connection. A few days back, Lokesh introduced Raghava Lawrence as the new entry in his universe. He will seen playing the title role of Benz.
It will be interesting to see how the director will make a connection with the other projects. Apart from them, Kaithi 2, Vikram Returns, Leo 2, and Rolex Standalone Movie will be part of LCU.
Lokesh also has a plan to make a spin-off web series with George Mariam’s Napoleon character from Kaithi and Agent Tina from Vikram. However, more information about the series is not revealed yet. But, Lokesh won’t make much involvement in these series because of his busy schedule. So the other directors and his assistant directors will complete the same.
Prasanth Varma Universe
Another film in this year titled Hanuman was released which gained huge success and positive word of mouth. The film was made on a budget of ₹40 crore approximately and earned ₹350 crore estimated. Its sequel Jai Hanuman was announced shortly or it can be said, that Prasanth had already planned to make his universe. He was just waiting for the right time to come.
In PVCU, the director has three films to showcase to the audience. Hanuman was the first film while the two are Jai Hanuman and Adhira.
Prasanth Varma revealed the poster of his next Jai Hanuman which looks promising. The poster features Rishab Shetty in the role of Bhawan Hanuman Ji, who is holding the Ram Ji statue and looking very emotional. The details about Adhira are not much known at this time.
Prabhas Upcoming Films In 2025 and 2026
The Rebel Star Prabhas has already very exciting projects in the years to come. And, if these two projects get announced officially, it would be a great treat for cinema lovers.
Apart from these two films which are yet to be announced, the star has several films under his kitty including The Raja Saab, Fauji (Tentatively titled), Salaar 2, Spirit, and Kalki 2.
Prabhas is currently shooting for The Raja Saab which will be released in theatres on April 10, 2025. He will be starting shooting for Spirit probably in the next month or January 2025. Salaar 2’s shooting has already started and it will be released in the second half of 2025.
