It has been a few months since Bollywood acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next project, Love and War, with Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt. Fans are being crazy for the film because of the film’s starcast. Undoubtedly the actors are super talented and have millions of fans nationwide.

Ranbir & Vicky Spotted In Jodhpur: Love and War Shoot Soon?
Both actors were recently seen together at Jodhpur Airport in a video which went viral and fans are guessing they may start shooting for their upcoming film Love and War. Well, this seems to be true because their looks already match the characters they’re set to play.
Earlier it was revealed that Ranbir and Vicky would be playing Military officers, and he asked them to undergo physical transformations to look like real servicemen,
Fans flooded the comment sections with positive words, praising their looks but questioning Alia’s absence.
When Does Love and War Start Filming?
It was in the buzz that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War will go on the floors in November. In the midst, the actors were seen at Jodhpur probably preparing for the shooting. According to Pinkvilla’s closed sources, the shooting for the film will begin with Ranbir Kapoor on November 7, 2024.
“The actor will shoot for his solo sequences for a couple weeks”The actor will shoot for his solo sequences for a couple of weeks, and then be joined by Vicky Kaushal. Alia Bhatt on the other hand will begin Love And War after wrapping up Alpha in the first week of December” – Pinkvilla revealed.
The filming for Love and War will be shooting for over a year as Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning a schedule from November 2024 to October 2025. Ranbir Kapoor’s shoots aim to be finished by July or August 2025 while Vicky and Alia have reserved more than 200 days for the shooting until October of next year.
When Is the Release Date of Love and War?
Earlier, Love and War was scheduled to be released on December 25, 2025, but later the film’s release date got postponed, but why? probably because of filming. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for making big-budget sets to give a beautiful cinematic experience which is why the filming is taking too much time. The other reason could be the star cast’s scheduled date. They might be busy with other projects.
As per the official announcement, Love and War will be released on March 20, 2026, during the festive season, which is expected to promise a good opening at the box office.
